24-hour Delta Lloyd sailing race on the IJsselmeer.
Tonight at 7 pm it will happen; the 24-hour sailing race starts!
It is a unique sailing competition where you have to determine the course yourself. There are hundreds of possible racks on the IJsselmeer but also on the mudflats which you can take to sail as many miles as possible.
The sailing competition will start tonight at 7:00 PM at various locations on the IJsselmeer and will finish on Saturday at 7:00 PM in Medemblik.
The beauty of this sailing competition is that it is a combination of tactics, navigation, sail trim, perseverance, night sailing and boat speed.
