The ports of Stavoren.
Stavoren is a beautiful place which is very easy to sail from all sides of the IJsselmeer. There are several ports in Stavoren, so that everyone can find a nice berth!
Stavoren is a fishing village with quite a bit of history. A beautiful village to walk around!
Stavoren has a number of options for mooring: De Nieuwe Marine, which is located offshore on the Ijsselmeer, just before the lock, and the Oude Haven. Also applies here; lots of fun in the old harbor, and lots of luxury and playground in the marina.
The Marina van Stavoren is located just before the new lock on the starboard side. This marina is fully equipped with luxurious sanitary facilities, plenty of space between the jetties for easy entry, a nice playground for the children, and is only an 8-minute walk from the center. The outer harbor of Marina Stavoren is located on a beautiful lawn with a beach. The lawn has a fun cable car for children, and a cozy beach bar de Potvis.
This beach bar regularly has fun activities for children.
Windsurfers and kitesurfers can sail perfectly from this beach and then sail on the shallow Vrouwenzand.
Another option is the old port. This harbor is located in the old center of Stavoren. There are no boxes here, and you will moor side by side in this harbor basin. the brown fleet is usually on the port side when sailing in, and the cabin sailing yachts are on the starboard side. The old inner harbor is very cozy and is right next to restaurants and some bars.
