Sailboat Bavaria 35 Match
With this Bavaria 35 Match you have a wonderfully fast and high sailor.
This sailboat is aimed at good sailing performance with, for example, a keel of 2.00 meters, extra large sails of high quality, a slim hull (narrower and therefore faster than a regular Bavaria) and the presence of both a Spinnaker and Gennaker (can be rented separately at sufficient experience).
That does not alter the fact that the yacht has sufficient comfort for a relaxing sailing holiday; Bavaria is known for that. It is therefore a nice combination of performance and comfort.
The draft of 2.00 meters is no problem when sailing on and in the harbors around the IJsselmeer, Markermeer and the Wadden sea
The sailing yacht is rented from Medemblik, which is an ideal base for exploring the IJsselmeer, the Waddenzee and the Markermeer. But a tour of Noord-Holland is of course also an option.

Home port Medemblik
This Bavaria 35 Match is in our home port; the Pekelharinghaven of Medemblik (check the location on Google Maps).
From Medemblik it is only 11 miles to Den Oever, where you can enter the Wadden Sea via the lock. This is at no more than 2 hours sailing. Beautiful harbor towns such as Enkhuizen, Stavoren, Lemmer, Hindeloopen, Makkum and Workum can also be sailed within a few hours.
Medemblik is known as a cozy old port city with a shopping street about 200 meters from the port with nice clothing stores, restaurants, bars, supermarket and much more. If you want to do something fun on the day of departure or return, you can go to Radboud Castle (right next to the harbor), the steam engine museum or the bakery museum (in the shopping street). Right next to the harbor is a beautiful park with a cozy restaurant (Koekenbier) with a playground for the kids and a mini golf course. You can even rent bicycles at the harbor office to view the area.

Declan McCarron06/06/2022Recently i had a sailing day on the Lady Victoria in Enkhuizen. Im very new to sailing, so i was with Theo, a master sailer, and his mate Jeroen, also a great sailer. The Lady Victotia is a classy boat, truly a fine strong boat to be out on the waters. I was assisting Jeroen & Theo, and doing what i could, with the expert instruction of both skippers. After we had a drink and some food. The day was deeply Joyful, and i look forward to another day, on the Lady ⛵
